was easter not last sunday. ?
Not for Greek Orthodox... Its this sunday. Last Sunday was for the Catholic.
the picture reminds me of the Chi Chi Chia pets. One person photoshopped it so that Al Sadr's entire head was a chi chia farm green. So funny.
Al Maseeh Kam!
Sorry people, Im not Christian,
What does the phrase "Al Maseeh Kam" mean ??
I didn't understand it :)
Happy easter for all Christians in the world :)
Hello Abed Hamdan,
The most holy holiday for Christians is Easter because it is the time we believe that Jesus rose from the dead and thus proved his divinity. So for that reason we proclaim "Christ is Risen" "Al Maseeh Kam" every Easter ...sort of like "hey look... I told you so"...sort of a thing! :0)
Christmas is only the second holiest holiday, though you couldn't tell it here in the West... The birth of Christ is one thing but without his resurrection there would be no Christianity.
The proper response, Christian-to-Christian, is "Truly He is Risen"
Abu-Issa
Abu-issa: Im very thankful for your explanation and ur kindness :)
